There is a myth about it taking 21 days to create a habit. This myth is not true. The pathway to creating new habits is all about getting your disciplines right. How many people are working remotely and picking up new tools and skills? This new way of working may not be everyone’s natural habit, so it becomes a real challenge; it feels uncomfortable because it’s new. The more you repeat this way of working, the more comfortably uncomfortable you become.
Repetition is the master of skill and attitude; we are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act; it is a habit.

How do you keep yourself on track? How do you strengthen and develop your core? How do you build your resilience?
Your attitude. Your attitude will always determine your altitude in life.
Your attitude will create your cadence and rhythm; it will be the differentiating factor between you and others. The one thing people will never be able to copy is your DNA; your attitude, your resilience and your winning mentality. High achievers do not leave this to chance; they programme their mind filters; they practice muscle memory and use systems and processes to set themselves up for success.
The way you think is 100% your choice. You have the choice to focus on the good or the bad? What are you going to choose to focus on today, tomorrow or the next day?
You become what you think about all day long; whatever your mind can conceive and believe, you will achieve.
It does not matter if you have been running harmful programmes in your mind; the most significant thing about the human brain is that you can reprogram your internal conversations.
We are stronger working together.
With any success story, there is always a back story of achievement, failure, effort and the hard yards that have been put in. Individuals who are prepared to keep going with resilience and tenacity. If they can’t find the front door, they will go through the back door; they will find a way through.
There may be a stigma with the word failure, but you have to take failure as a learning experience. What did you learn from it? What would you do differently next time? When are you going to get back in the arena and apply the lessons learnt?
We are stronger working together.
